Christmas Party 2023 – Newmarket

After a quiet few months of no social events, we held our annual Christmas party in conjunction with Dylan Cunha LTD & Phantom House Stables at the Great Western Hotel in Newmarket. A huge thank you to everyone that managed to turn up to what was a great and successful evening with lots of fun and laughter. The evening kicked off at 18:30 (unless you were one of a few that met for pre drinks in Gee Gees wine bar earlier in the afternoon. The night kicked off with background music played our DJ, with welcome goodie bags being handed out to our owners courtesy of some of our owners that sponsored them. (We really do have the best owners involved). Lots of drinks were flowing and then we had a hot/Cold buffet for the owners to enjoy before we gave our end of year speeches. We sensed we were on a tight rein for the speeches as some of the owners were keen to hit the dancefloor so we kept them short and sweet. The music went up a notch and soon after the speeches the dancefloor was alive and kicking. It’s always great fun at social events as we like to entertain our owners for putting their faith in us and continue to do so with more purchases. Despite not having a winner under our belt yet, 2023 has been great fun and we managed to expand from 3 horses in training to 6 horses in our string. Great achievement everyone involved. Lets hope 2024 brings us better luck as we search for that elusive 1st winner. A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE, PAST & PRESENT.

Oaks Day Picnic – On The Epsom Hill

On Friday 2nd June a dozen or so of our owners descended on the Epsom Hill for a “Posh Picnic” provided to them our racing manager Andrew. They managed to lap up the glorious sunshine, enjoy the company and even managed to pick a couple of winners, these are the type of social events that we will be doing more of over the summer. They are a great way for owners to meet up, relax, be in great company and to simply enjoy a day out. We look forward hosting more in the coming weeks and months. Get involved and join the fun that Catch Us If You Can Racing provides it’s owners. This is ownership at it’s best. get in touch here

Spring Yard Open Day – Newmarket

Our trainer Dylan Cunha, hosted his Spring 2023 Yard Open Day on 16th April in Newmarket. We showcased everything Catch Us If You Can and had a great turn out from our owners and friends of the yard. With cakes, hot dogs and refreshments (and maybe a few beers) everyone had a great afternoon and the sunshine made an appearance too!

Sir Henry Cecil Open Weekend – Newmarket

One of our first opportunities to launch Catch Us If You Can Racing to the public was during the Sir Henry Cecil Open Weekend. Dylan kindly let us set up shop in the yard to showcase our silks, owners welcome packs and brand new logo!

It was great meeting lots of new faces and we had alot of interest in Confederation and Empress Lulu on the day which led to us selling all shares in Confederation within 8 weeks of launching.

Dylan Cunha Racing – Owners Christmas Party

Dylan and his team organised a festive treat for all the owners in his yard which saw 60+ people gather in Newmarket and enjoy an evening of delicious food, dancing and perhaps a couple of beverages. It was amazing seeing so many people under one roof to celebrate Dylan’s first year training here in the UK.

“Our owners and staff had lots of fun and bringing everyone together after our first season starting off and it was a lovely way to end the year and look forward to 2023. We are so thankful for the support we have and how the yard has grown” – Dylan Cunha

BBQs and Breakfast in the yard

Being a retired chef, Andrew will frequently jump on the BBQ and serve up some freshly cooked breakfast baps or BBQ food for our owners to enjoy whilst in the Yard (weather permitting of course)
